Quick WFH Snack. 2 ways with Sourdough

  1. Avocado on Toast with Sauerkraut – Savoury

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ lemon, chilli flakes, extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • Sauerkraut

Method

Cut the avocado & destone, then scoop out the flesh into a bowl. Squeeze in the lemon juice then mash with a fork to your desired texture. Season to taste with sea salt, black pepper and chilli flakes. Toast your bread, drizzle over the olive oil then pile the avocado on top.

Garnish with the pickled sauerkraut and serve up in your favourite plate.

  • Nut Butter on Toast with Cocoa Nibs & Cinnamon – Sweet

Ingredients

  • You favourite nut butter
  • Cocoa Nibs, Cinnamon, & Honey
  • 2 slices sourdough bread

Method

Toast your bread, spread the nut butter, top with the cocoa nibs and sprinkle some cinnamon. Drizzle some raw honey and serve up in your favourite plate.
